I’D RATHER BE IN PARIS

The imagery of cobblestone sidewalks laced with cafe’s in the heart of Paris captivates my travelling eye. The smell of warm croissants and espresso fills the air and the feeling of love is everywhere. So this is what I hear anyway. I haven’t been to this little pocket of paradise however became inspired to visit after seeing this photo taken by a friend with flair, her name is Jodi.

After visiting Paris, Jodi created an elegant french vintage bedroom with  her pizzazz and talent. I love the idea of bringing your favorite place to life right in your own home. I couldn’t think of a better way to fall asleep at the end of the day than to say ” bonsoir a paris .” This room is so inviting with the charming shutters and cozy quilt. I can see myself curled up with a good book in this room. This gal surely knows how to captivate the French design.

Find a space in your home in which you can transform into your own sanctuary.  Find some pictures from magazines and  build your room on paper. This will be your template to refer to. Eventually you will find every piece and every picture, more importantly you will have created a most sacred place to rejuvenate and relax.

I will get to work on my room and share when it’s complete.  Thank you Jodi for the inspiration!

What room can you create with your imagination?
